Even in the begining of the century dental technicians chose their Patron Saint Nicholas. He was born in the second half of the III century in Patra city, Malay Asia. His parents – Teofan and Nona, were pious and rich. The legend says that they for a long time haven't got a child, but with a prayer, tears and alms begged from the God a dear child – a boy, who they gave a name Nicholas (from Greek “the victor of the nations”). Even in his childhood St. Nicholas is an example of goodness and asceticism . In his all life he refuses the material benefits and gives them to the poor. He was elected for the bishop of the peace in South- east Malay Asia .
In one prayer St. Nicholas is named a patron of the faith and faithful people, caretaker of the starving, gaiety of crying, an attire of the naked , patron of the sailing on the sea, pacify of the enemies, liberator of the captured and wrongly convicted , keeper of the chastity.
On 6 December dies the bishop of the peace – Nicholas Mirikliiski, respected from all religions and pagans as Thaumaturge , master of the sea elements, patron of the sailors and fishermen. Then we celebrate the Nicholas day – in his memory.
